Frequently Asked Questions
Q.Does the price include set up and delivery?
A.Yes, although additional fees may apply for areas farther out. Remember prices do not include sales tax or generators.
Q.Do you deliver to other cities?
A.
Yes. We service Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco County. For full pricing, please select your inflatable, enter your event date/time/address to generate a free invoice.
Q.Does the standard 4 hour rental time include your set up time?
A.Be sure to book your order for the time you wish us to delivery, rather than when your party begins. Set up can take between 15 - 60 minutes depending on the size/number of units, location and distance from truck and set up area. Please be sure to clear set up surface of any debris, animal droppings and sharp items. Be sure to know where you wish to have your bounce house set up. Each delivery is in a time sensitive window. This allows us to ensure all customers are serviced on timely basis.
Q.When do you set up?
A.The time booked is set up time. Be sure to include set up time when booking. You will receive a call/text the day of your scheduled event. If earlier arrangements must be made, you will be contacted the day before your scheduled event.
Q.We've rented some really dirty jumps from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?
A.Jump Around Bounce Houses does not rent dirt inflatables. If there is an issue with your select item, we will contact you to select a similar size/design bounce house.
Q.Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?
A.Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That's why we require an outlet within 100 feet of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
Q.What about parks? Do parks have electricity?
A.We love setting up at parks, but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, it is your responsibility to rent a generator or to confirm with the park if you are allowed to use their outlets for bounce house set up. Visit our "Add-On" folder to add a generator to your cart and secure it for your rental. Larger generators are required for larger units. Parks are on a first come, first serve basis and fill spots fill up fast. Get your spot early. Generators are limited due to space on the trucks. Be sure to secure a generator with your order, for a smooth delivery/set up.
Q.What payments do you take? When are payments due?
A.Debit Cards/Credit Cards. Drivers do not carry cash. Payments are due 48 hours before your event. A reminder email will auto-generate 2 days before your event. If you pay in full prior to the automated message, please disregard.
Q.What if we need to cancel?
A.If notice of cancellation request is submitted within 24 hours after initial rental agreement, a full refund (excluding deposit) will be issued to lessee. In the event of there only being a deposit payment that was submitted by lessee, lessee forfeits the deposit of rental. Any same day rentals or rentals requested outside 24 hour refund window, lessee will forfeit the entire payment amount. All full payments (excluding deposits) can receive a raincheck to reschedule rental to a later date, up to a one year from cancellation date (expires a year from cancellation date). No rainchecks or refund for deposits.
Q.Do you require a deposit? Are security deposits refundable? Are damage waivers refundable?
A.Yes, all orders require a $60 Credit Card deposit to secure your rental. Security deposits are applied to your final balance payment and are non-refundable. Damage Waivers are also non-refundable.
Q.How big are the jumps?
A.Most of our jumps (all of our character jumps for example) are 15'x15' which is a little bigger than many companies rent. Please note the space required for each jump (listed near the large picture) as some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumps need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can't rub against walls or trees as this may damage the jump. The sizes listed with each jump include the space needed for stakes, sandbags, etc.. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup
Q.What about the big jumps? Any special requirements?
A.Check the requirements listed with each jump. Some bounce houses require two outlets. Also, make sure you have at least a 5 feet of access to the area where it will be set up. The jumps can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.
Q.What surfaces do you set up on?
A.We can set up on grass, turf, dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.
Q.Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?
A.Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.
Q.Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?
A.Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator. Be sure to add the non-refundable damage waiver to your order.
